Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Flint Hill Goods 2-tang clevis for your two inch hitch receiver. This hitch mounted 2-tang clevis for your two inch hitch is going to be great for industrial and agricultural applications. Just use a one inch in diameter pin for simple hookup, and that pin is sold separately. This platform with the hole can also be used as a ball mount for standard towing. You just wanna make sure that whatever size ball you use, again, has that one inch in diameter shank that can slide through there and be mounted there. This is of a sturdy steel construction that offers a gross towing weight of 5,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 500 pounds and it features a corrosion resistant black powder coat finish.
So again, this is going to slide into your two inch hitch receiver, and let me go ahead and pull out my tape measure here and give you some dimensions beginning with the overall length from end to end. As you can see, we're sitting right at 14 and a half inches long. And then let me get my ruler out here for some smaller measurements. Beginning with measuring from the center of our hitch pin hole to the center of our ball pinhole we are sitting right at 11 inches center to center. And again from the center of our hitch pinhole to where the tangs are welded to the shank we are sitting right at four inches.
And the space between the tangs, we are sitting right at two inches, and then the throat from the weld to the end, let me see if I can line that up so you can see we are sitting right at four and a half inches right from the, once again the weld to the end four and a half inches deep on the throat. And then from the weld to the center of our pinhole we are sitting right at, let me move my finger there a little more center, right at three inches. Now the hitch and hitch pin and clip are sold separately. So if you don't already have a compatible hitch pin and clip, I do have some recommendations for you. If you just want the regular pin and clip I do have the item number there for you at the top of the list.
But since this is really an investment that you're making if you wanna secure this to your trailer hitch receiver. the second item that I have listed there is our etrailer trailer hitch receiver lock. The hitch is working perfectly. Has been on my 620i since i purchased.
I got this to make it easy to attach a chain to the hitch for pulling items out of the ditch. Turns out it works great for pulling a trailer that is built for a pindle (think that is what is called), the trailers with be big iron loop.
This product was delivered promptly by etrailer. Packaging was good for this heavy hitch. The strength and quality of the product is obviously very good. My use is for attachment to move farm trailers around with my JD tractor and pickup truck. Would recommend this item.
Heavy Duty...Only used once with a Come-Along but worked great. It will be tested when I remove some fallen trees. Wish it came with a pin tho.
Perfect for attaching accessories to my Polaris Ranger. Hitch is exactly as described in the ad. Product arrived as expected from shipping quote.
Actually it's more than I needed. I wanted a connector to attach a lawn cart to a Kubota RTV. I read all the specifications and determined it would do the job. It's heavy, well made and it will get the job done.
